As your first step, download the Free Self-Care Guide below, filled with practices, techniques and tips to bring more ease and clarity into your daily caregiving. The Guide helps restore your energy, release mental overload and alleviate any burnout you might be feeling.
You may not call it burnout. You may not even call it stress. But caregiving can slowly change how you feel, think and cope.
Three signs:
You keep going even when you feel emotionally and physically tired.
You feel guilty taking time for yourself.
You are caring for someone else, but beginning to feel unseen, stretched or disconnected from your own needs.
A gentle first step back to yourself
You don't have to wait until you are overwhelmed, exhausted or burnt out before you support yourself.
The Caregiver Self-Care Guide helps you check in with yourself, slow your breathing, notice what you're carrying and create small moments of care in your day.
It includes:
A self-check-in to notice how you are really feeling
A calming breathing practice to settle your body and mind
A short journaling prompt to release what you are carrying
A small daily ritual to help you feel steady again
Calma Caregivers was created to support people who are caring for others while quietly carrying stress, guilt, grief, exhaustion and emotional heaviness themselves.
I didn’t come to this work from theory - it comes from lived experience as a caregiver, once my Mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
There were times that felt heavy, uncertain, and overwhelming. It meant learning how to keep showing up, while quietly carrying more than family or friends could see.
In the midst of this, I learned that support isn’t just about what needs to be done…it’s also about how you’re holding yourself within it.
Over time, I discovered that small, steady practices can make a real difference. They help create a little more space, more clarity, and a sense of calm, even in the middle of difficult moments.
That’s what this work is built on. Practical supportive practices and techniques that meet you where you are.

How your purchase makes a difference
At Calma Caregivers, we believe care extends beyond the individual — it reaches families, communities, and the wider world.
For every purchase, we donate to World Central Kitchen, supporting communities experiencing trauma, crisis, overwhelm, and exhaustion.
Just as our logo represents holding the heart of the person we care for, this support extends to those caring for others on a global scale — offering nourishment, compassion, and practical help where it is needed most.
Because care matters everywhere.
